Our Cranbourne Dental Clinic does not currently offer Orthodontic treatment for our patients. We have a reliable team of Orthodontists that we refer on to, after you come in for your check up with us. We have, for your convenience, included some information about Orthodontic treatment below.
Orthodontic treatment is not all about just ‘making teeth straight’. We take into account more than just that, such as how your top and bottom teeth meet (your bite), how well you can chew food, and many more things. In the end, we will take all of these things into consideration and offer you the best suitable product or service.
Orthodontics can be used in Children or Kids generally at around the age of 9 or 10. At this point, it is recommended to bring them in for a check up to see if they would benefit from possible early-on treatment (to help prevent problems later on in life).
Adults can have Orthodontic treatment at any time in their life. There is no maximum age, so if you’re considering treatment and have some questions – please give us a call and we’ll do our very best to help with an answer.
Typically, for Children / Kids and Adults we prefer to use Braces as the preferred Orthodontic device.
