Dr. Saba is an integral part of our dental team, bringing over 11 years of experience to our practice in Melbourne. She is a compassionate dentist who finds fulfilment in all aspects of dentistry, particularly in tackling challenging cases. With a gentle and easy-going manner, Dr. Saba ensures that her patients feel at ease and well-cared for during their visits. Her meticulous attention to detail reflects her commitment to providing the highest quality of care.
Dr. Saba’s primary focus is on helping her patients achieve confident, beautiful smiles while addressing any fears or anxieties they may have about dental treatment. She specialises in Cosmetic Dentistry, including Veneers, Crowns, and Bridges, as well as General Dentistry. I graduated from Gandhi University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and trained in Melbourne for further 2 years before registering with Dental Council of Australia Since graduating in 2001, I have worked in multiple community dental clinics and private practices across Melbourne. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry with particular interests in preventative, childrens’ and special needs dentistry.On a personal note, I have an incredibly supportive partner and I love being mum to my children
Arvinder Kaur
Practice Manager
I previously worked as a dentist overseas and now sitting for my dental exams towards becoming a Dentist in Australia. So I have first hand knowledge of the treatment. I love that the practice is family-run and I’m proud to be part of the Cranbourne Dental Centre team. I have enjoyed getting to know the patients on a one-to-one basis. In my spare time I enjoy going for walks, and have two grown-up kids and socialising!
Dr Shady Abdelsalam
Oral Surgeon
Shady is an AHPRA-registered Oral Surgery Specialist with a wealth of cross-cultural experience. After completing his Bachelor of Dental Medicine & Surgery degree at Ain Shams University in Egypt in 2007, he obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2012.
Shady obtained his Master’s degree in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) from Cairo University in 2016 and Arab Board Fellowship in OMFS in 2018. His interest in oral health and research led him to Australia to pursue a Master of Public Health degree at La Trobe University, which he completed in 2020. Shady obtained Membership of The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2023.
Shady has a passion for helping his patients achieve their best possible smile, with his calming, mild-mannered approach. He enjoys all aspects of oral surgery practice, with a particular focus on surgical extraction of third molars (wisdom teeth), dental implants, bone grafting procedures and temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD). Outside of work, Shady enjoys spending time with his family, playing soccer, squash, reading and swimming at the beach.

Dr. Athirai is a highly skilled General Dental Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality oral healthcare. Having completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery overseas and successfully achieving AHPRA registration through the Australian Dental Council (ADC), she brings a wealth of international experience and a meticulous eye for detail to every consultation. With a strong belief in preventative and conservative dentistry, Dr. Athirai strives to make every visit stress-free, particularly for anxious patients. She is passionate about staying at the forefront of dental innovation, having completed advanced training in Endodontics, Surgical extractions and regularly engaging in continuing education to provide the latest evidence-based treatments. Whether performing complex full-mouth rehabilitation or routine maintenance, her goal is to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through clear communication and clinical precision.
